Instead, they will each be collecting a cheque for 183,000 euros, minus around 36,000 euros in taxes to the state.
The jackpot, one of the biggest ever in the European lottery, was claimed by a Belgian player.
The winning numbers played were 5, 12, 20, 24 and 37 with the lucky stars being 4 and 11.
For those who missed out on last night’s winnings, the Euromillions returns on Friday with a new minimum sum of 17 million euros.
