Portugal's Antonio Costa has sought to calm tensions with the country's doctors after sparking anger with controversial comments.

The prime minister had been widely criticised for describing doctors sent to a struggling old people's home as "cowards". But tensions were cooled on Tuesday following an emergency meeting between the prime minister and the Portuguese Medical Association. The association said after the meeting he Prime Minister had clearly conveyed the respect and trust he has in Portuguese doctors.

Don’t worry doctors, the public know your accuser is nothing more than a lying clown in suit who is not worthy of respect.

Interesting comment above, Costa has shown his true colours often and has lied on many occasions. He is not a man of his word and is of inherently poor character, why the media portrays him
otherwise is a disappointment to Portugal’s democratic progress.

This article is false and a complete lie, the prime minister lied, the meeting didn't went was he made it out to be in the media, review your sources please, check one of the many articles written after the meeting where doctors state that he gave false testimony, in the meeting he said one thing, after it to the public and the media he said the opposite:
