Ryanair's Director of Human Resources has said there is "a real prospect of severe cuts in Portugal" in the winter season in terms of capacity and planes, due to the covid-19 pandemic.

In an interview with Lusa News Agency, Darrell Hughs said the possibility of cuts was true across all of its Europe bases, but the airline does expect some of these to fall in Portugal. On Monday the company made the announcement that it would slash 20% of its planned schedule for September and October.
