According to newspaper Correio da Manhã the shooting happened following an argument between three traders.

The incident took place at the Galinheiras Fair in the Bairro da Cruz Vermelha neighbourhood.

The victim is thought to have been shot in the abdomen.

His current clinical status is unknown.

The two suspects, one of whom is the shooter, who has been identified, fled the scene following the incident.
