Two-thirds of Portuguese agree with State of Emergency

More than two-thirds of Portuguese agree with the State of Emergency that was declared due to the covid-19 pandemic.

A similar number again also considers the Government's measures to deal with the situation to be good or reasonable, according to a poll by Eurosondagem.

In the survey for Porto Canal and newspaper i, 77.2% of respondents said they agreed with the declaration of the state of emergency, while 72.8 % said the Government's measures to combat the new coronavirus pandemic, are good or reasonable.
