The opening hours of Museums, Monuments and National Palaces, will be between 10am and 1pm, announced the Directorate-General of Cultural Heritage (DGPC). However, the admission will be free.
The DGPC justifies this new schedule, “in the context of the containment rules in force”, read in the information released on 10 November.
Visitors should enter until 12:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
DGPC supervises 25 museums, aggregated in the Portuguese Museum Network, and national monuments and palaces, such as the Ajuda and Mafra palaces and the Guimarães Castle.
However, some Museums, Monuments and National Palaces decided to close during the next weekends.
