Declared in mid-January to tackle what was then the world’s worst increase in infections, the state of emergency allowed the government to impose tough measures to suspend people’s rights and freedoms.
Portugal will now transition to a state of “calamity”, which still allows the government to impose some measures to reduce the risk of contagion but the rules it can put in place are more limited and must be justified.
I am Cypriot and I will travel with my child on Saturday 02/05 for sports activities. I have been informed that Cyprus is in the red category and we will remain in quarantine for 14 days. Do you have any information if something is going to change on 01/05? I would appreciate it if you answered me
