PSP police and SEF borders and immigration officers are to start carrying out random checks for Covid-19 tests on passengers arriving from outside the EU at national airports.

PSP officers will control the arrival of flights from the European Union and SEF officers will control flights from outside the European area.

Airlines are responsible for checking whether passengers have a negative PCR test performed within 72 hours prior to departure. In case of violation, fines between 500 and two thousand euros per passenger could apply.
