The General Directorate of Health (DGS) said a statement, that the vaccination process for people over 50 who were administered the Janssen single-dose vaccine starts on December 5th and will continue on the holiday of December 8th and on the following Sundays, of December 12th and 19th.
“For this purpose, users will be contacted by SMS, and must wait for this message. Users who are not called for the 5th of December must wait for the call for the other days of vaccination”, says the DGS in a press release.
On November 24, the Deputy Secretary of State and Health, António Lacerda Sales, explained that there are more than 250,000 people in these circumstances, with the remainder being progressively scheduled by age group until January.
Last week, the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) announced that people aged 18 and over who received Janssen's Covid-19 vaccine will be able to receive a booster dose 90 days after administration of the first.
The booster dose will be the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, with approximately one million people eligible.
The DGS said that also on Sunday (December 5th) the 'Open House' regime for citizens aged 75 years and over will continue.
Is there any information about 3rd dose for those that got other vaccine ? And are 60-64 years ??

My friend who is 53 years old managed to get his Gripe and booster shot in an Open House in Estoril whereas where I am in the Algarve, only 65 years and above are allowed to get their Gripe and booster shot. Why the conflicting information about who can be vaccinated with the Gripe and booster shot?
