According to a report by Jornal de Notícias: “TAP is facing
difficulties for two main reasons: the navigation system at Lisbon Airport
[which is full] and problems with handling. We do not have the same constraints
in Porto because the airport is very different”, said the French manager.
Still, she stressed that they have been working with everyone to solve the
problem and that NAV, which manages air traffic, is trying to negotiate a new
agreement with the Ministry of Defence.
Finally, Christine Ourmières-Widener admitted that the
number of cancelled flights will have an impact on TAP's accounts, and also
importantly on “reputation, image and customer loyalty”.
I don't want my taxpayer money in this obsolete airline. Brussels do something! Free Portugal from this guys who hijacked LIS and tarnish Portugal flag abroad.
