Bureaucracy main barrier for emigrants

Bureaucracy is one of the main difficulties that emigrants face, especially in Portugal, according to Social democrat José Cesário, who recently resumed his duties as coordinator of the PSD national secretariat for Portuguese communities.

Speaking to Lusa, regarding the functions that he assumed again, 12 years after having performed them, the former Secretary of State for the Portuguese Communities says that bureaucracy is one of the main barriers that Portuguese emigrants face.

“The current situation is difficult for the Portuguese who live here, but it is even more difficult for those who do not live here, who come here occasionally and who in a very short period of time have to solve problems”.

“We have to go on affirming our positions, proposals and solutions and we have to be very vehement in criticising and denouncing what is not done well and there is a lot that is not done well, starting with the bureaucracy”.

As a Portuguese national living in the uk and hearing and reading the uk media anti eu and slagging Portugal off and some off your readers ie expats ie immigrants complaining about the Portuguese immigration services please note I haves lived in the uk for 40 years and run my own business and have 2 grownup children and grand kids and British wife and had 2 years off obsolete he’ll with uk immigration services sow please what makes your readers and expats ie immigrants special your readers are a guests in Portugal and as as I have been told many times in the uk if you don’t like it you have a choice go back to where you come from your readers are guest in a friendly country and people and i would like to know how many uk expats ie immigrants have been told to go back to the uk ?? I forgot you are special

Someone in authority has actually admitted there is a problem with beauracracy. What will be done about it? Lots of Spending on 10 years of meetings, steering commitees, working parties, then bugger'all will change.
