Flood warnings issued

Due to bad weather, the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC) warned the population on Friday of "adverse weather situations" in the coming days, with heavy showers, which could cause floods, moderate to strong winds and high sea waves.

Based on information provided by the Portuguese Institute for the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), Civil Protection warns of "strong and persistent rainfall, especially in Alto Alentejo and Minho", a situation that will continue today, accompanied by thunderstorms and with the possibility of urban floods.
