Restaurant Review: Canaima Bistro

Situated on a square near Santo António school, this restaurant provides free parking right in front, making it convenient for visitors.

Upon entering, you'll be greeted by Andrea Valentina and Clay Laya, two friendly and enthusiastic girls from Venezuela who have been running the restaurant for the past seven months. They handle everything from cooking to serving, creating a warm and personalised atmosphere for guests.

The restaurant itself is well-maintained and clean, with a half-open kitchen that adds to the cozy ambiance. In addition to indoor seating, both the front and back of the restaurant feature spacious terraces where you can enjoy your meal. Andrea and Clay take great care to ensure that you feel comfortable and at home during your visit.

If you're dining with kids, you'll be pleased to know that there is a small public playground nearby, providing entertainment for the little ones while you enjoy your meal.

For breakfast, you can choose the Venezuelan, English, or American breakfast, all priced at just 6.50 euros.

For lunch, the restaurant specializes in Venezuelan delicacies such as arapas, empanadas, and panellon. We had the pleasure of trying their delicious empanda mista (2.80 euros), an arepa gringa (5.40 euros), and a pabellon criollo (9.80 euros). Each dish was prepared with care and packed with authentic Venezuelan flavors.

The ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous, leaving us satisfied and content.
