The centre: Intermittent sunshine and cloud are on the cards for Wednesday and Thursday when temperatures are to reach highs of 29 degrees with lows of 17 degrees. Rain is to return on Friday with heavy showers expected on Saturday.

The south: Clear skies are forecast for Wednesday with highs of 29 degrees and lows of 20 degrees. Cloud cover is to increase on Thursday with rain then on the cards for Friday when highs are to reach 26 degrees.
