This situation represents an improvement compared to 8:00 AM, when about 20,000 customers were without power, eight thousand in the Setúbal district alone.

E-REDES assures that its teams are "on permanent alert and mobilized on the ground" for a quick resolution of the situation.

The National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC) recorded 86 incidents between midnight and 6:00 AM today related to heavy rain caused by Storm Claudia, mainly flooding.

The most affected regions were Greater Lisbon, the Setúbal Peninsula, and the West. In Setúbal alone, a district under red alert (the most severe) due to heavy rain, 43 incidents were recorded.
