Involving an ongoing theatre project, the book includes scripts and photographs from nine previous plays also written by Carolyn Kain. Linked together by text, the nine plays cover 600 years of Portuguese history and particularly the country’s links with Britain. It provides an interesting insight into the period and the scripts written in rhyme are often amusing and sometimes rather shocking!

The next production to be performed at the Museum by “The Random Players” includes a cast of twelve and is truly experimental theatre entitled, “Salazar, the Musical - the Rise of a Dictator” - March 11-12-13th 2026.
