Through strategic partnerships and the talent of local and guest artists, the audience experienced moments of profound harmony and religious celebration, reinforcing the role of music as a unifying element for the region.
On Saturday, April 11, the Church of the College of the Jesuits in Portimão provided the setting for the Spring Concert. At 7:00 PM, the voices of the Grupo Coral Adágio and the Youth Choir of the Portimão Academy of Music filled the historic space with a unique choral celebration. The evening gained an even more collaborative dimension with the participation of the Coral Ideias do Levante, which travelled from Lagoa to strengthen cultural ties between the neighbouring municipalities. This initiative, organised by the Portimão Academy of Music, was made possible by the essential support of the Portimão City Council and the Portimão Parish Council, alongside Festa da Música, demonstrating the strength of institutional partnerships in promoting the arts.
The program continued on Sunday, April 12, with the eighth edition of the Lagoa Easter Concert, held at the Church of São Francisco de Assis in the village of Parchal. The event focused on a delicate and refined repertoire centred on the religious calendar, featuring performances by soprano Carla Pontes and the Al-Andaluz String Quintet. Musicians Alma Ramírez, Savva Ivanovich, Yekaterina Kuchinskaya, Sunita Mamtani, and Bruno Martins delivered a memorable sound experience that captivated everyone in attendance.

This concert cycle was the result of a joint effort between several entities, highlighting the production by the Ideias do Levante association in partnership with the Municipality of Lagoa and the Parish of São Francisco de Assis. The logistical and institutional support from municipal staff, the parish team, and media partners was fundamental to the initiative's success. The final outcome reflects a sense of gratitude and the success of a cultural strategy that continues to elevate the musical offerings and religious heritage of the Algarve.
The success of these events paves the way for an intense schedule in May. On April 18, Ideias do Levante will perform at the Armação de Pêra Church at the invitation of ACRAP for another choral performance. This will be followed by a month of May packed with activity, notably the Lagoa Choral Week and two theatrical plays presented by the association's two resident drama groups.
