American business magazine Forbes has chosen the Algarve as the best destination for foreign pensioners to live after the coronavirus.

The magazine says that the region has the ideal conditions for anyone to be happy.

Forbes magazine chose three destinations for foreign pensioners to live post-pandemic and Portugal’s Algarve region was elected the best for qualities such as sunlight, beaches and safety.

If you compare the top 3, you find that the Algarve actually deserves the first two tops, then the others come !!

So true . Mild climate. Friendly Portuguese.
Reasonable rent long term - Abnb is expensive .Lot,s of Fresh Vegies and fish.
I recomment it for young entrepeneuren and sun loving Pensionists.

Yes, for tourists and foreign self-funded retirees that don't need to try and deal with local/federal government it's great - all the people that don't need to jump over the bureaucratic hurdles that exist here in abundance. For them its sun, sea and good food. For the locals with zero government support ..... not so much
