The EU’s executive arm has defended a decision to send a team of senior officials to Lisbon for a meeting

The EU’s executive arm has defended a decision to send a team of senior officials to Lisbon for a meeting with the Portuguese government, after two ministers tested positive for COVID-19 and a number of top officials went into isolation. Portugal’s finance and labour ministers later tested positive for the virus, while three other ministers have gone into isolation after coming into contact with people who tested positive. Two EU commission vice-presidents and a commissioner are in quarantine.

The EU is nothing but an unneeded layer of Bureaucrats who do nothing except overpay themselves.
