British police in Portugal to identify Champions League hooligans

Police officers from London and Manchester are currently in Portugal to help identify and control unruly football fans travelling for the UEFA Champions League final.

Portuguese police will be keeping an eye out for hooliganism in the city of Porto and will count on the help of their British counterparts to control fans who cause problems.

According to Público, the UK officers will also be involved in the security operation set-up for the big match, which takes place between Chelsea and Manchester City at the Dragão Stadium on Saturday
