Man accused of killing Bruno Candé sentenced to 22 years

The man accused of having killed the actor Bruno Candé in July last year on a street in Moscavide, in Loures, was sentenced on 28 June to 22 years and nine months in prison.

The 76-year-old man was charged with the crime of aggravated murder of Bruno Candé, which occurred on 25 July, 2020 and aggravated by racial hatred.

The MP alerted to the defendant's behaviour, referring that, during the trial sessions, he showed “indifference” towards the crime.

On 13 May, at the first hearing of the trial, the man confessed to murder when he said he had fired six shots at actor Bruno Candé.
