Leaving a session at Infarmed, in Lisbon, António Lacerda Sales noted that the indicators, “both in terms of incidence, in terms of the transmissibility index, and in terms of pressure on health services, are good”.

“These are good indicators, which give us some optimism, some confidence, some tranquility, so that we can believe that, yes, we will have relief in the restrictions”, he acknowledged, stressing that it is necessary to “listen to the experts” on Wednesday.

At the same time, he pointed out, there are still “some indicators” that are “worrying, namely the number of deaths per million inhabitants”.
