15% above 2019 levels despite existing logistical challenges and price
pressures, with short-haul flights driving the majority of this global growth of
travel expenses (representing +20% compared to long-distance travel)".
The 'Shifting Wallets' study used an "exhaustive analysis"
of public and anonymised economic data to provide an overview of how recent
economic changes are impacting the choices consumers are making about "what
to spend, when and where".
