They’re both fishermen, tied to the same stretch of sea even when conflict keeps them apart. The film unfolds over a year, staying close to the ordinary: mending nets, long silences, the return to shore. There’s no narration pushing you toward meaning; the daily work speaks for itself.

Directed by Bisan Owda, it screened on the opening night of Algarve Film Week as part of the Monstrare International Social Film Festival program.
