Michelle has raised thousands of euros in recent years organising these evenings to support local charities. The Refúgio supports many four-legged animals plus a few two-legged, and is funded by donations and proceeds from our 3 shops Ferragudo, Lagoa and Carvoeiro.

If you have three to four hours spare a week, we welcome volunteers for our shops!
