Big Bad Bank is a unique bar in Porto that emerged in the space of the old Banco Mello. This gives it a different aesthetic from regular pubs nearby by keeping some of the traces of the old bank, and also adopting a more alternative look.

It was opened in 2021 as part of the Zero Box Lodge building. The bar kept the vault door from Banco Mello. Inside, you find art by various artists, which gives it a very unique look. You will find a lot of fake dollars in the vault for fun photos, as it is fully covered in carpets.

At Big Bad Bank, you can find DJs playing on weekends, and even visit the terrace during the summer.
