In a statement sent to The Portugal News, organisers said the protest will take place along the EN125 in the city which is currently gridlocked due to roadworks.
The protest, which was set to start at 10:30 on Saturday morning will commence at two separate points – one at the Fatacil fairgrounds and the other at the EDP roundabout.
